DADAVIZ (May–July 2023) MEET Digital Cultural Center, Milan
DADA Perspective exhibition, DADA collective
At the request of the DADA collective, I devised and coproduced DADAVIZ as part of the DADA Perspective exhibition. DADAVIZ was n analogue live-data visualisation symbolising the sorts of intrinsic values underpinning DADA’s Invisible Economy. Visitors were invited to pick from plexiglass boxes filled with illustrated badges representing the values of Curiosity, Belonging, Freedom, Integrity, Creativity, and Hopefulness – creating a live data visualisation over time.
Regarded as a pioneer of art on blockchain, DADA is a community and digital platform for collaborative art. It also aims to decommodify art and free artists from the treadmill of the market, using blockchain technology. In May 2023, led by curator Eleonora Brizi, Dadakin transformed MEET into a huge disruptive laboratory demonstrating its work and the history of the movement. The exhibition included large-scale fully immersive animated sound and visual collage, volumetric sculpture, augmented reality installation, film, large-scale data visualizations, and more. I served as part of the core production/installation team from February – July 2023.
